Reiki means Universal life energy Rei-universal Ki- life force
It was developed in Japan by a man called MIkao Usui in the 19th Century.
Reiki is a form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
Reiki is a totally non invasive treatment. And can be done hands ON or Off depending on which is preferred.
Everyone is an energy, that flows through the body keeping everything running in balance, we have 7 main Chakras
– Root/Base – Red
– Sacral – Orange
– Solar Plexus – Yellow
– Heart – Green
– Throat – Blue
– Third Eye/Brow – Indigo
– Crown – Violet, Gold, White
They all have to flow together and one can easily become clogged, Reiki is fantastic for getting the Chakras unblocked and helping the body to maintain a good flow of energy. This enables the relaxation of the Mind, Body and Soul.
